I’m an Italian-American mother of six grown children with a desire to help people see in themselves what I see; their beautiful hearts.

I was raised a cradle Catholic but at the age of eleven my parents stopped attending church. Anything pertaining to God went by the wayside. Like many teens and young adults of the 80s, I lived with reckless abandonment. The journey back to my faith has taken strolls through dark valleys, treks up majestic mountains, and visits along extraordinary paths. The storytelling of these experiences has become my passion.

The world is filled with so many who suffer with the kinds of pain I once endured as a result of looking for love in all the wrong places. I’d like to think that sharing my heart and head may inspire others to join me in finding joy, as well as help them grow into becoming the best version of themselves.

I love God, my husband, my family, my friends, and my country; and I’ll lay down my life for any of these. I also love (in a much different degree) dark chocolate, the color purple, the beach (especially at sunset), fine red wine, cooking for family and friends, and trying new and exotic foods.

I thrive when helping others. My goal in life is to always look at things in a positive note; to make people feel special; to never give up, give in, or give over those values which I hold sacred; to trust rather than worry over that which I cannot change, and last but not least, to always stay young at heart!
